\r\n \r\n Dr. R.C. Joshi is a Former Prof. E. & C.E.\r\n Department at IIT Roorkee and former Chancellor at\r\n Graphic Era University Dehradun. Currently he is\r\n advisor, Academic & Research at GEU, Dehradun.\r\n He received his B.E degree from NIT Allahabad\r\n in1967, M.E .1st Div. with Honors and Ph.D. Degree\r\n from Roorkee University, now IIT Roorkee, in year\r\n 1970 & 1980 respectively. He worked as a\r\n Lecturer in J.K Institute, Allahabad University\r\n during 1967-68. He joined Roorkee University in 1970\r\n as Lecturer, became Reader in 1980 and Prof. in\r\n 1987. He had been Head of Electronics & Computer\r\n Engineering from Jan 1991-1994 & Jan. 1997 to\r\n Dec. 1999.He was also the Head of Institute Computer\r\n Centre, IIT Roorkee from March 1994 to Dec. 2005. He\r\n also served as a short visiting Professor’s\r\n Assignment in University of Cincinnati, USA,\r\n University of Minnesota, U.S.A & Macquarie\r\n University Sydney Australia. He has also worked as a\r\n Principal Investigator in number of Sponsored\r\n Projects of Ministry of Information &\r\n Communication Technology, DRDO, AICTE, UNDP, &\r\n ISEA. He had taught more than 25 subjects in\r\n Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering &\r\n Information Technology.\r\n
